Long Wharf Theatre partnership brings opening week production to Quinnipiac

Quinnipiac and Long Wharf Theatre are launching a new initiative, partnering to bring several unique experiences to the Quinnipiac community. Long Wharf professionals will visit several undergraduate classes to have in-depth conversations with students, lead a panel discussion on Thursday, September 17 as part of the upcoming common hour event on the South Quad and perform their opening weekend of “The Ford/Hill Project” at the Quinnipiac Theatre Arts Center on September 19 and 20.

Quinnipiac Netter graduates positively impact Connecticut residencies

Quinnipiac University's Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine graduates are serving as physicians in medical residencies across Connecticut. Over the next three or more years, they will provide vital public services across a broad clinical spectrum statewide. Just a few among an extraordinary cohort are Nicholas Carola, MD ’26, Olivia Kelly, MD ’26, and Elina Kurkurina, MD ’26.

Scholarships for Hamden and North Haven Students

Quinnipiac is proud to be part of the Hamden and North Haven communities, and this scholarship is an important investment in the future talent of local students. Select admitted students who are residents of the town of Hamden or North Haven may be offered this award during the admissions process, in place of other academic scholarships.

Gaining College-Level Experience

Students have a number of opportunities available to explore topics of interest at the college level, build a portfolio of work within a field of interest and connect with Quinnipiac faculty, staff and other students. These include summer camps and taking courses for college credit through your high school. We'll also help you make a plan for college while you're still in high school.

Age-Friendly University

We are committed to age-inclusivity, where members of every generation are acknowledged, respected and given the necessary resources to thrive—both individually and as a group.

As champions of community service, our students volunteer throughout Connecticut, from assisting with Ronald McDonald House projects and raising money for charities to motivating school children in the region with Read Aloud days to beautifying neighborhoods. Our health professions students provide free clinics, our law students perform legal services and our accounting students help with tax preparation for residents in need. The university enriches the community with cultural opportunities, athletics and entertainment options that attract thousands annually.
